Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Dan Shamir and I am a tour guide, a resident and lover of Jerusalem. Actualy I live near the Old City. For many years I worked in various positions in high-tech, but the desire to know about the country burned within me - I traveled and learned a lot over the years. I decided to delve deeper and studied to become a tour guide. I deepened not only my knowledge of the geography of the country, the thousands of years of history of this wonderful country, the many diverse populations that live in it - Jews, Muslims, Christians, Druze, and more. I collect stories and facts about the sites we visit and am eager to turn field tours into a thrilling experience.
Every day I meet those who want to get out of the neon lights. Those who want to directly experience life in the field. I believe that through the experience in the field itself, we can learn about the country, the city, society, and in general, the world and ourselves. Things we wouldn't learn from books or screens in closed rooms. Therefore, my mission is to provide an experience in the field that will teach the tourist something about their own life.
I guide tourists in groups or individuals in Israel, especially in Jerusalem./n I build and operate several specialized tours for those familiar with Jerusalem who want to learn more about places, stories, and facts they haven't yet discovered. I am a tourist consultant and travel planner. I also develop systems for the tourism sector.
